I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine... ~Song of Solomon

A beautiful bride... An exquisite church....  A fun reception....  It was Maggie and Will's perfect day!  We started at the Manor House at the Shenandoah Crossing Resort in Gordonsville, Virginia, where everyone helped Maggie get ready to meet her groom at the alter to say their vows.  After 20 something steps to her makeup, curling irons and emergency clear nail polish, Maggie looked stunningly beautiful as her father walked her down the isle.  From her Grandmother's first look, Maggie's amazing worship singing, to Will's first glance, Maggie looked spectacular!  The reception was doused in creativity from the "Shoe Game" to the "Honey Lemonade".  I am honored every time I am invited to photograph a wedding.  Thank you, Maggie and Will, for entrusting me with such a significant event in your lives.  I wish for a happy forever to you both!

I offer wedding photography around Charlottesville, VA and Richmond, VA, Syracuse, NY and Albany, NY.

It's a date!!

Calvin didn't know what they were doing that night.  Connie booked a session with me to get, but decided to surprise her honey with a photo session.  We met at The Boar's Head Inn, in Charlottesville, VA, which was quite a drive for Calvin, all the way from Richmond.  Usually the guys are not very into photo sessions, but we had a blast!  Calvin was such a trooper and the two of them are such a cute couple!  I'm honored that you live almost two hours away from each other and you spent part of your date with me!  I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

River Rats, errrrr..... Dogs!

Whether it be shelter dogs or housepets, I have always enjoyed photographing animals!  So when Service Dogs of Virginia contacted me to take their photos for this year's sponsorship brochures, I was more than excited to take the job!  The non-profit organization fosters and trains the puppies until they are ready to become service animals for people with conditions such as diabetes, autism and other disabilities.  This years puppies have names associated with boats and water, so it was only appropriate to do their pictures at the Rivanna River!  I have never seen so many puppies swimming in one place at one time!  I ended up chest-deep in the water with puppies romping all around me!  It was an awesome time and I'm extremely happy with the results!  Thanks for all you do, Service Dogs of Virginia and thanks for a great evening on the river!

Sibling Rivalry!

The Lake Monticello Sharks welcomed The Elks Club to the pool for the second meet of the season this past Wednesday night!  This meet was a special because the head coaches of the teams are sisters, Carly and Jennifer Csapo (both former and current Lake Monticello swimmers).  Everyone from both teams was very excited and cheered for their teammates and their opponents throughout the night.  While the Sharks came out victorious overall, everyone was a winner in team spirit and sportsmanship.  Great swimming, Elks and Sharks!

Shark Infested Water!

The Lake Monticello Swim Team kicked off their 20th straight year of being part of the Jefferson Swim League this past Wednesday night by hosting the first meet of the season!  The first meet of the season is always dedicated to Jonny Besecker, a lifeguard who passed away in 2005.  The night started out with a very heartwarming speech by Lila Cabellero, honoring Jonny and his character and dedication to the Lake Monticello Pool.  The Sharks went head to head against Forest Lakes Swim Team and everyone swam very well.  Forest Lakes is a very large team in a higher division than the Sharks, so it was an awesome challenge.  The Sharks gave it their all and had a great first meet!  It is now officially summer!  Go Sharks!
